You really can't be $6 for a grilled cheese sandwich and chips. No, it's not the best food ever, but it's cheaper than basically anything else in the area. If you're having trouble finding the place, you go in through the main entrance on Temple, go up the stairs on the right, and it'll be on your right next to the gift shop.
Within short walk to Ahmanson Theater. Service staff were very friendly and accommodating of special requests. Although a limited lunch menu, the quality and the quantity of our choices exceeded our expectations and a great value for the moderate cost!
Attention L.A. Court Jurors! If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.

My family and I frequent this place on weekends, usually Sundays. Parking is free during church mass times. It can be busy with average noise. Lines can be long as staff can vary from 4-6. There are a lot of great food options. They also serve Urth Caffe drinks! Recommend the soups as well, especially the clam chowder. Good prices as well.
